Matching gifts are typically overlooked. In 2012, The Chronicle of Philanthropy released a report entitled “How America’s Biggest Companies Give.” Two of the top 5 matching companies are right here in our community: Boeing and Microsoft. In fact, 65% of Microsoft employees request matching company contributions from their employer. Does your company have a matching gift program? If so, now is a great time to submit your Sherwood Forest PTA donations for matching.

Did you know that many employers will match your time, too? Sherwood Forest PTA has received over $7500 in contributions from our school family documenting and submitting their volunteer hours to their employer for matching this school year alone! What a great way to give back to our school AND have your employer support your child’s school.

Escrip and hundreds of merchant partners have created a system that rewards customer loyalty by contributing a percentage of purchases to Sherwood Forest PTA. You shop the way you like to shop for groceries, clothing, travel and entertainment. Sherwood Forest's parents and teachers can help earn hundreds of dollars for the school simply by swiping their credit card at places like Bartells and Best Buy. This is done at no EXTRA cost to you. A percentage of your purchase goes right back to Sherwood!

If you're already registered, every year you still need to reconfirm which school you want the money to go to. So sign-up or double check your account today at www.escrip.com.
